What Cory Aquino’s Funeral Video Taught Me

I’ve watched Cory Aquino’s live funeral video and I must admit that people are all very lucky especially those who were able to make it to the places where the former president of the Philippines was able to pass them by. I cannot describe the feeling of it even if I was at home and using the internet to seek for live video coverage of Cory Aquino’s funeral.

The video taught me something - “that whatever you bestow upon the people whom you serve while you were i the government, it will all come back to you in the end”. There is almost a tagalog version in irony of this saying which states that “kung ano ang ibinato mo sa kapwa mo ay sya rin nilang ibabato sa iyo”. 

This historical event is a warning to those in the government and in the positions in the government that whichever they do to the people, in the end, it will all come back to them. If they betray the people with false belief, in the end, the people will know and they will also be the one to decide.
